The weather conditions were not optimal but Franky went through qualies thanks to two nice runs: cab 5, bs rodeo 36, fs 7 tail on the kickers line followed by a FS air to fakie on the hip. His second run was made out of a bs 5, a sw bs 5, fs 7 tail, bs rodeo on the hip and cradle run.
The finals got cut down to one run due to bad visibility. Franck had a smooth run with fs 7 tail, bs 5, cab 7 on the kicker's line o finish with a bs rodeo on the hip. Franck eventually ranked 16th and first French rider at the Wangl Tangl 2008. He also won 1500 $ as the prize money got split between all the finalists.
