UniQ Riding, we will have snow for Shrove Tuesday

Many of you took part in our "cool, winter holydays are coming up!" competition game.

Well, it wasn't the hardest competition game on earth! Actually, 100% of participants got the right answer.

To get a chance to win the draw, you had to pick up the answer C. The Justice board was well and truly located in front of the White House, in Washington DC. How the hell did a guy manage to show up in front of George W's quarters with a black 160 board bag??

Well, no doubt, one of our team-mate is a sexy blond icon and she successfully bribed the security guys...

Here are a few words for Sully:

"Nothing too serious !! Just a few weeks to recover and then I'll spend 6 months having physiotherapy before being able to ride again. The winter is already over for me, but I plan to take advantage of this free time to work on a few different projects.

Here it is, just got ACL surgery from Dr Philippe MORILLEAU at Clinique Belledonne (St Martin d'Hères), he's really good surgeon. The nurses, the auxiliaries and the maids were all really kind. They were helping me out for every single stuff, the wash, the food, the cleaning, the pulse take, the temperature, then injection, the wound, etc...

I had my own room and i brought my Playstation 2 or video games, my computer to watch movies and my Ipod for music !! The machine you can see on the picture is a Kinetec (to bend and stretch knees). Using it, I will recover 90% of my bending skills in a couple of days, before getting out of the hospital .It's pretty cool, I can play Resident Evil 4 while getting my physio done.
Well, I will send you a post card from Capbreton, one of the best place in Europe for physiotherapy."

for those whose missed it ...

Thanks to all the people who support us and help us to get the brand and the concept famous. Thanks to the UNIQ team riders who have fun and take risks to shoot the best action on snow. Every single rider dreams to land a 720 over a 30 meter table or wishes to stomp the craziest trick 8 meter high in a quarterpipe. But not everyone is just gifted enough for that. But anyways, the UNIQ board works really well over a 30 meter kick, so be sure you'll be able to stomp your best 360 on a small jump (or whatever it gets to impress your girlfriend!!)

Guillaume, one of the organizers tells us about the event:

"The first edition of the TwinTip Contest was a big success! Around 50 riders were present as well as a big crowd – beginners or experts. Under blue skies, with a mellow snow, we got the best conditions to celebrate the event as a big freestyle party. Famous riders were pushing it hard on the kickers of Les Orres snowpark, especially shaped for the event. Organized by 3 students from Gap's Métiers de la Montagne college, the TWINTIP CONTEST was the opportunity to dominate with style on a reknowned snowpark! Meet you in 2009 for the 2nd edition?... we'll see!"
